ACCELERATED BACHELOR’S - MASTER’S PROGRAM (BA/MS)

The Accelerated Bachelor's-Master's program allows qualified students to obtain a Master's degree in 1 additional year of study after Bachelor's. Additionally, during their master's year, students can get scholarship that provides 50% off tuition and registration fees.

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE CAS BACHELOR’S – MASTER’S TRACK

Students must satisfy the following requirements:

  1. Must be a CS major in the College of Arts and Science (CAS)
  2. You must complete at least 9 credits of graduate courses during your undergraduate study. This is equivalent to taking three graduate-level courses.
  3. You must have a minimum 3.7 CS major GPA at the time of application.
  4. Two letters of recommendation from faculty members you have taken courses with, here in our department.
  5. Other general requirements from Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) including completing at least three semesters at NYU and having two terms remaining in CAS or GLS.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

  • Fall Admission - applications due in March
  • Spring Admission - applications typically due in October

ACCELERATED BACHELOR’S- MASTER’S of PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM (BA-MPA)

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE CAS BACHELOR’S – MASTER’S TRACK

CAS students may apply  to the CAS-Wagner Bachelor's-Master's program if they have:

  1. Completed at least three semesters completed at NYU (at least one semester completed in CAS for transfer students)
  2. A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  3. Declared an approved major. The only major in the Computer Science department that is approved to apply to each Bachelor's-Master's track is the Joint Major in Computer Science/Economics. You must be a joint CS/Econ major in order to apply and qualify for this program.
