WinC Mentoring Hours and Coffee Break

WinC Mentoring Hours

Courant 419. Come to WinC's Mentoring Hours to talk to WinC officers and peers about school, work, or just to take a breather. Mentoring Hours are manned (or womanned, haha) by WinC officers and are designed to provide support for "fellow" women in the department. (Who knew people language was so gender-specific?) If we don't know the answer to your question, we'll point you in the right direction. Stop by to talk, get assistance with courses, or share your ideas. Thanks to our Co-President, Rebecca, for leading this effort. There are rumours of cupcakes.

Dates and times:

  • TBA

Coffee Breaks, 9 pm, occasional Thursdays

You'll eventually take a break from studying, so why not join fellow students for coffee (or another consumable of your choice) at the aptly named Think Coffee across the street from Courant. Coffee Breaks are designed to be a low-key way for students to get together and unwind. For those feeling jaunty, we can play Scrabble using only tech-related words. (Cost is individual food and beverage purchase, but, hey, you'll eventually buy food anyway.)

Think Coffee, 248 Mercer Street (between 3rd and 4th Streets)
