SimX/Uintah basics

SimX/Uintah consists of modified Uintah components to support dynamic creation and destruction of processor groups to explore a design space.

To build SimX/Uintah:

  • Obtain Uintah version 1.0.0.
  • Download the SimX/Uintah patch from here.
  • Apply the patch. cd to the directory containing the sub-directory "Uintah", and run: 

     patch -p0 -R < SimXUintah.diff

  • Build Uintah as normal.

    A test file is provided, with an accompanying SimX/SCIRun driver net.
