Currently at Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, I would be graduating in May 2006 with a Masters in Computer Science. I am currently looking for a full time position as a software developer. I received my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay
While at CIMS I have been doing research under guidance of my advisor Prof. Clark Barrett in software verification. I have been working on a tool to check assertions in C programs. We call this tool CASCADE (C Assertion Checker and Deductive Engine).
Help The Children!
CRY (Child
Relief and You) is a NGO working for child welfare in
India. CRY acts as a link between two groups - development
organizations and individuals working at grassroots level with
underprivileged children and communities, and people like you who wish
to help but don't know how. CRY harnesses the money, time and skills
of thousands of individuals and organizations to partner 169 child
development initiatives across India, making it an 'enabling'
organization, not an 'implementing' one.
- Direct Action: Direct work with children and their communities
- Capacity building:Building necessary skills, structures, attitudes and knowledge required to work better
- Networking: Enhancing collective impact by bringing together organizations and individuals working in the same area to work together
- Policy influencing: Playing an effective role in influencing government policy towards child rights and education among others
To give an example of how you can help, a small donation of $25 (Rs. 1200) from you can help CRY support a child's educational and basic health care needs for a full year. Please take a look at the site and think about it. Cry Donations are TAX deductible in US and India.
