Description

This research seminar is intended to discuss advanced topics in machine learning. We will be presenting and discussing one technical paper each week with the goal of better analyzing and generalizing some techniques and stimulating research. The choice of the paper is left to the speaker. The presentation should be clear, concise, and made accessible to all the audience. When necessary, some concepts will be introduced to clarify some methods and to make connections with others. Occasionally, external speakers will be invited to come and present their work. An expected outcome of the seminar is research publications in areas related to machine learning.
