As indicated in the guidelines, please include the following as
the Subject: of your message OS-lab#-lastName
, where #
is replaced by the number of the lab and lastName is your last name
in lower case.
Please send only the source and documentation (e.g., README) files
packaged as one tar, tar.gz, or zip file.
This file should be an attachment to the email message.

Lab 1 is available. The lab is due 12 February 2013.
Lab 2 is available. The lab is due 5 March 2013.
Lab 3 is available. The lab is due 28 March 2013.
Lab 4 (the last lab) is available. The lab is due 25 April 2013.
I continually update these notes as the semester progresses so I advise against printing it all out now.
There will be an in-class midterm and a final exam during finals week. Practice exams will be available. Please do not plan any trips until the exam dates are settled.
The, in class, midterm exam will be tuesday 26 March 2013. Here is a practice midterm. This practice exam is too long. The real midterm will be shorter.

A practice final is here. I will include 10%-20% fill-in-the-blank questions on the exam. The practice final above was timed for the entire 1:50. Your final will have somewhat less material to leave time for the fill-in questions. Sample fill-in questions are here
Please note the format. You write your answers on the question sheet (or the backs). I will have blue books available, but they are only for scrap.

There are two TAs for this course. You should email your labs to your grader, who is determined by the first letter of your last name.
