It is a bit worrying, isn't it? I mean: that's what we must look like to a 
lot of lay people....rather like, in fact...french literary theorists. How 
is one to make oneself look different from them to a bystander? Can we say 
any more than that the Sokal experiment would have a different result if 
the same thing were tried on the editors of the JSL..?
