          NSM2006 - Nonstandard Methods and its Applications
                     Pisa, May 25-31, 2006

             ******  Final Announcement  *******
it is almost time: NSM2006 starts this Thursday.
This announcement is to inform you that the web site of the Conference

                     http://www.dm.unipi.it/~nsm2006

has been updated with several new information.

In particular:

* The opening session of Thursday May 25 will be hosted in
   "Aula Magna" (one enters "Aula Magna" directly from the Hall
   of the Math. Dept.). Here is the schedule:
   - 5:00pm  Registration (the Conference desk is
             in the hall of the Math. Department)
   - 6:20pm  Welcome from the Chair of the Math. Department.
   - 6:30pm  Opening talk by Peter A. Loeb:
             "A brief history of the world (of nonstandard analysis)"
   - 7:10pm  Opening remarks from the Scientific Committee of NSM2006.
             Speaker: H. Jerome Keisler
   - 7:30pm  Welcome cocktail.

* The list of registered participants can be consulted in
   the "Registration" section of the Conference web site.
   In case you already registered
   but your name is not in the list, please contact us by email at:
   nsm2006 at dm.unipi.it

* New registrations are now ONLY possible at the Conference desk.
   (No more bank transfers or credit card payments will be accepted.)
   Please notice that only payments in CASH (euro) will be accepted at the
   Conference desk.

* The "Program" section of the NSM2006 web site now contains
   more info about the social bus trip to Lucca of Sunday, May 28
   and about the social dinner of Monday, May 29.
   Please note that your participation to these social events
   must be communicated while registering.

* Abstracts of all talks are now posted in the "Abstracts" section
   of the Conference web site.

* The final schedule of talks is currently in preparation.
   When ready, it will be posted on the web site.
