[FOM] Cantor's Theorem

Does anyone know who devised the proof in the form that shows the set {x: x
is not in f(x)} is not within the range of f?  Cantor's paper "Ueber eine
elementare
Frage der Mannigfaltigkeitslehre" does not seem to contain any proof in
quite this form (I may be wrong, I only have access to secondary sources).
