FOM: Einstein quote

fom-ers who were following the exchanges a while back on CH might be
interested in the following quote:

"For me, a hypothesis is a statement, whose *truth* must be assumed
for the moment, *but whose meaning must be beyond all ambiguity*."

For a scientific hypothesis, the assumption of truth is
understandable. More interesting, with regard to the earlier
discussions of CH on fom, is the stress on determinate meaning.
