The goal of the biannual NMADS meetings is to provide a forum
where the various distributed systems research groups at both universities and
research labs in the NYC Metro area can interact as a community. Previous
meetings were held at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center (March
2000) and Rutgers University (November 2000).
This spring's meeting will be held on April 13th,
2001 at New York University. The
schedule for the NMADS day will include an invited talk by Professor
Bruce Maggs (Akamai Technologies and Carnegie-Mellon University), 14 unrefereed short talks,
and an informal mixer
for researchers to network with each other.
NMADS is open to the public. We look forward to your participation. Additional details about NMADS
(including directions) can be found on the web at http://www.cs.nyu.edu/nmads.
