We are concerned that the proposed NYU 2031 plan will have serious 
environmental, health, and art/design effects on the Village and 
surrounding areas. The cost of this proposal would jeopardize the 
financial health of NYU for many years to come and have serious adverse 
effects on the retention and recruitment of excellent faculty, which is at 
the heart of the  University
