Abstract
Tropical mathematics is a mathematics over the Tropical SemiRing,
(R,+,max), the real numbers equipped with the operations of maximum
and summation addition and multiplication respectively. The
objective of the lecture is to present an overview of the
fundamentals of tropical algebra/geometry defined over the Extended
Tropical SemiRing a new structure that generalizes the former
structure. The included topics will be: basic structure of the
extended tropical semiring, its corresponding convex geometry and
the compatible matrices' algebra.
