workshops during the conference FoCM'02 at
the IMA , University of Minnesota,
Minneapolis, MN, USA, 5-14 August 2002. The workshop will run for 3 successive
afternoons during 5-7 August (Monday - Wednesday).

Organization of the Workshop
Each of the three afternoons, there will be one semi-plenary 50-minute
lecture and eight 25-minute lectures. Lectures are
open to all registrants at the FoCM'02 conference; registration is open to the
public, and all those interested in optimization are welcome at the workshop.
In addition, one of the morning FoCM'02 plenary lectures will be on a topic
in optimization.
